His Royal Highness Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah, the third prince of His Royal Highness Sultan Abu Bakar Ri’avatuddin Al-Mu’adzam Shah and Her Royal Highness Tengku Ampuan Pahang, Raja Hajjah Fatimah binti Almarhum Sultan Alang Iskandar Shah was born in the Istana Mangga Tunggal Pekan on 24 October 1930.

The stamp valued at 60sen portrays the portraits of His Royal Highness Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah and Her Royal Highness Sultanah Pahang, Sultanah Hajjah Kalsom. This stamp depicts His Royal Highness who has reigned the stale of Pahang Darul Makmur for the past 36 years. Also featured in the background of this stamp are the royal regalia such as the royal umbrella, royal flags and crown that are used during royal ceremonies.

The stamp valued at 80sen features His Royal Highness in his complete attire as Colonel-in-Chief, Royal Malaysian Air Force. Featured at the background of the stamp are the Tenun Pahang, a traditional hand woven silk tapestry and keris which are part of the proud heritage of Pahang. Also featured is the Gamelan Pahang which is the 200 over year old musical instruments performed during royal functions.

The stamp valued at RM1 depicts His Royal Highness in his official royal costume and awards. Also featured ill the background of the stamp are the Royal Seal and Royal Throne which is used during official ceremonies.
